Constructed with a durable welded steel frame, the backhoe dredger features a 10mm bottom plate and 6mm sides and deck. It is outfitted with three hydraulic winches at the front, two positioning pile cylinders at the stern, and anchor rods on the side floats. Four ballast tanks, positioned at the ends of the floats, ensure stability during operation.
The backhoe dredger can be disassembled for convenient transport by rail, road, or sea. The engine and pump are located in the central compartment, with the side hulls serving as fuel and ballast tanks. The engine room is watertight for enhanced safety.
The cutter shaft is driven by a sealed bearing and continuously lubricated with high-pressure oil from a deck reservoir. The control room, which is elevated above the lounge area, offers a panoramic view and is equipped with air conditioning and an adjustable seat. The lounge area below provides space for a table and sleeping arrangements. Safety equipment includes water cannons, fire extinguishers, and life rafts.
